GAME DESIGNERS

Missions:

You have a passion for creating the highest quality games by following good design principles. Gameloft specializes in top-rated games for mobile devices.

Your main tasks include:

Game Design: from high concept to implementation and completion
Benchmarking / competition research
Level Design
Interfacing with a teams of graphic designers and programmers

Profile:

Required skills and experience:
• Passionate enthusiasm for all genres of 2D and 3D video games
• The ability to draft dossiers of complete design and technical specifications
• Thorough understanding of video games and their appeal to the general public
• The ability to work with a team, convey your vision and motivate team members
• Excellent skills in analysis and summary
• Excellent writing skills

Additional desirable skills:
• Familiarity with C++ and JAVA
• Knowledge of wireless devices


2D ARTISTS
• Excellent free-hand drawing skills
• Human anatomy knowledge
• Good sense of space, volume, perspective and color
• Pixel art experience is a big plus
• Using adobe Photoshop is essential
• Animation skills is a plus

• Medium knowledge of English

3D ARTISTS
• Excellent knowledge of 3ds Max
• Low-poly skills
• Mapping
• Texture (medium)
• Skinning and animation
• Technical knowledge of 3De engines represents a plus
• Medium knowledge of English
