Здравейте колеги,
Cinemotion започва работа по изключително интересен Fantasy филм продуциран от Joel Silver и Warner Brothers. Брандът и франчайзинг-а са собственост на Hasbro (добре познати ви от Transformers). За този проект имаме нужда от вас. Към постоянния ни екип вече се присъединиха, част от „звездите“в Graphilla. В следващите постове съм изброил някои от позициите, които в момента са отворени. Позициите са за работа на пълно работно време, но ако все пак сте фрийленсър и проявявате интерес към някоя от позициите, моля да опишете това изрично във вашето писмо. Dynamic and Effects artists

Job Description

FX Technical Directors are responsible for generating FX animation, procedural simulation, dynamic simulation, particle and fluid systems for feature film visual effects. Responsibilities also include the lighting, rendering and basic compositing of those FX elements.
• Designs and creates FX animation, procedural simulation, dynamic simulation, particle and fluid systems.
• Lights and renders FX elements and creates basic composite to demonstrate the usability of the elements.
Requirements

• Advanced simulation experience with either Houdini, Maya, XSI, 3DS Max or other software, and ability to write expressions or authoring of shaders are required.
• Linux and scripting ability in Python preferred, and experience in MEL highly desired;
• C++ skills also applicable.
• 3+ years production experience or feature film experience with effects simulation work preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or computer graphics.
• Demo reel required.

Texture Painter

Job Description

The Texturing Artist’s primary responsibility is to create the desired textures according to the designs and visual style of the animated feature.
• Working under the guidance and direction of the 3d Lead is responsible for the creation of textures for CG assets insuring that they will satisfy the style and quality of the production.
• Collaborate with other artists to create valid textures for production.
• Works with preproduction team to execute the desired look of CG models and characters.
• Works closely with various team members in achieving desired look of models.
• Maintains or exceeds consistent level of productivity while meeting deadlines and producing high quality work.
• Participates as a team member in determining various design solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Graphics, Industrial Design, Fine Arts, or equivalent having gained a strong sense of anatomy, character design, surface development, proportion, and mechanical functionality. Traditional model building a plus.
• 3+ years work experience required in 3D CG for digital animation, or visual effects film.
• An understanding and knowledge of characters, environments, sets, etc.
is required.
• Proficiency with LINUX/UNIX/Windows is desirable.
• Expertise with Maya and/or other high-end modeling software is required.
• Demonstrated artistic ability.
• Attention to detail required.
• Ability to learn quickly and assimilate new information.
• Strong communication skills required.

• Good organizational skills.

3d Modeler

Job Description
The Modeler will produce photorealistic models from scratch and see them through the modeling pipeline from start to finish.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
• Create photorealistic models from scratch that meet all technical and aesthetic standards for the project.
• Complete tasks within production deadlines while being largely self-directed.
• Be able to provide guidance and mentorship to other modelers.
• Work closely with the texture artists to ensure all models work smoothly within the texture pipeline as well as the modeling pipeline.
• Work closely with the riggers in the case of character models to ensure models work smoothly within the rigging pipeline as well as the modeling pipeline.
Education, Experience and Skills Required:
• 2+ years of experience creating high resolution, photorealistic models for feature films in Maya.
• Experience with Character, Hardsurface vehicles or props and/or Environments modeling.
• Zbrush and Mudbox experience is preferred.
• Photorealistic texture painting and lighting experience is a plus.
• Must have excellent communication and organizational skills.

The Animator creates high quality motion of computer graphics creatures and objects within a shot, using a variety of animation software programs, and working under the general supervision of Senior Level and Animation Supervisors.
• Responsible for the successful animation of a series of shots on a specific project.
• Participates as a team member in determining various aesthetic solutions; provides feedback to other members of the production by attending dailies on a regular basis.
• Maintains or exceeds a consistent level of productivity while meeting deadlines and producing high quality work.
• Expected to mentor entry level Animators and must be able to assist them with their shots.
• Performs other tasks related to the creation of computer-generated animation.
Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Traditional Animation and 3 years experience, or at least 5 years of experience working in cel, stopmotion or computer animation.
• 2+ years as an entry level Animator in conjunction with recommendations for advancement by the Animation Supervisors and Department Manager.
• Expert knowledge of traditional animation principles, acting, film production and compositional design.
• Ability to take on a delegated task with a minimum of supervision.
• Knowledge of Unix and shell scripting; expert knowledge of Maya, proprietary and other software programs.
• Good organization and communication skills.

Lighting and Rendering TD

Job Description

Senior Lighting Technical Directors (TD) work with direction from the CG Supervisors and Digital Artist Supervisors to create the look of computer generated objects and scenes. They are responsible for lighting, shading, rendering, and some compositing.
• Work with competency, energy and enthusiasm within a team environment with daily supervision to complete a shot.
• Demonstrates good listening and communication skills by openly receiving direction and criticism by asking good questions to confirm clear understanding of the directions and how to approach what needs to be done. Once clear, implements the requested changes immediately and raises flags right away if a solution is not quickly found or if there are any delays, making sure the Supervisors and Production are kept in the loop and are up-to-date on the status of one’s shot work.
• Demonstrates basic presentation/communication skills in dailies/shot review by clearly and briefly outlining what has been accomplished and what next should be addressed in the shot.
• Demonstrates the development of an eye toward anticipating potential problems and knowing what could look better in one’s shot.
• Demonstrates the ability to prioritize tasks managing time well, providing everyone with accurate time estimates on shot task completion
• Responsible for mentoring other digital artists in Lighting and Rendering.
Requirements

• 3+ years work experience required in visual effects.
• Demo reel demonstrating artistic and technical ability is required for this role.
• Feature film experienced required
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Graphics
• Possesses strong computer programming abilities with visual arts skills.
• Strong working knowledge of Linux, C programming Python and shell scripting is required.

Job Description:
Roto Artists who are responsible for creating mattes that accurately reflect the motion of a particular object over a series of frames.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
• Demonstrate excellent rotoscoping skills:
• Sophisticated shape creation and editing.
• Shape animation (by hand and w/ trackers and 3D cameras).
• Shape compositing, fill modes, opacity settings.
• Compositing roto, plate and color correction nodes to produce, render, and review color-overlay roto check.

Education, Experience and Skills Required:
• 2 to 3 years minimum roto industry experience
• Hand paint and "procedural" or "comp" paint a plus.
• Experience with Nuke is preferable
• Handle difficult to extremely difficult paint tasks.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Fast and efficient.
• Team player with great attitude.
• Dependable and flexible.
• Takes direction well.
• Exercises close attention to detail.

Matchmovers

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Matchmoving is the replication of the real set, camera and camera move within the computer for later use by animators and technical directors. Each shot in which 3D computer graphics are to be added begins with a matchmove. In the CG Layout process, Camera Matchmoves and original CG camera moves are integrated to create the framework of each Sequence. Often this includes manipulating both 2d and 3d elements, while maintaining accurate camera perspective. In some cases a sequence might be entirely Computer Generated with no live action background elements.
• Converts background plates to various formats to use with specific software to create digital motion files that match the plate photography. This includes animating any live action character or relative object in the scene.
• Generate 2D Compositing elements, while maintaining the accuracy of camera perspective.
• Models the set geometry used to create the matchmove and environment for Animators and Technical Directors.
• Lights, renders and composites files with the background to judge the move.
• Originate entirely CG camera animation
• Works with the CG Supervisor and Project Manager when applicable to estimate project schedules in terms of matchmove staffing needs and makes recommendations in the adjustments to the schedules as necessary.
• Team acts as a central hub for all shot preparation to ensure continuity and camera accuracy in CG Elements
• Under the direction of the project Supervisors, the Match mover will setup the technical and aesthetic approaches of the matchmove work for a shot, sequence, or even an entire aspect of a show.
• Based on project size, and the nature of the work, the Matchmover may be asked to perform Lead Matchmove duties including, providing leadership, guidance and direction to the matchmove team.
• Maintains an expert level of knowledge about current developments in matchmove tools for computer graphics, especially in areas that relate to the film industry.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Ability to reproduce exact camera moves within a computer environment.
• Understanding of photography and the effects of different lenses on perspectives.
• Typically has experience as an artist, animator or camera operator.
• Advanced knowledge of Maya.
• Must have a willingness to learn new tools, proven ability to be detail-oriented and to work efficiently within a production environment.
• Excellent problem solving skills including the ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Good written and oral communication skills including strong interpersonal skills.
• Experience in gathering information on location for Matchmovers.

Requirements are:

Experience designing and creating 2D paintings, including 2.5-D matte paintings and 3D camera-mapping shots.

Experience in designing and executing 3D environments, as well as 3D matte paintings featuring camera projection setups.

Strong understanding of color, perspective and mood.

Minimum 3 years experience.

Digital Compositors

Job Description

The Compositor combines live action and computer generated elements into visual effects shots that realize the vision and creative direction of the client and Visual Effects Supervisor. The compositor is ultimately responsible for the aesthetic integrity and technical quality of the final image delivered to the client.
• Composites feature effects using Nuke.
• Together with the Compositing Supervisor and Visual Effects Supervisor, evaluate the creative and technical approach for assigned shots.
• Perform all tasks associated with the compositing process, including 2D tracking, matte extraction, layering of elements, and color grading.
• Maintain the overall look, color balance, and quality for assigned shots and sequences to create uniformity in all finished work.
Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of digital compositing experience in a feature film or commercial production environment.
• Ideal candidate has a strong sense of composition, color and design.
• Strong fine arts foundation skills, such as photography and photographic lighting.
• Proficiency with LINIX and shell scripting.
• Programming experience a plus.

NEN това, че обявата е на английски според мен не е неуважение или начин да се правиш на интересен. Напротив. В интернационални екипи се избира език разбираем от всички членове на екипа. Това спестява много време за преводи и си е чисто уважение към всички замесени.
