Design Board is a leading European brand & packaging design consultancy specialized in consumer branding. We provide innovative packaging design solutions for a wide range of international FMCG clients for more than 40 years.

Our area of expertise spans Europe, Middle East and Africa. We operate from four strategic geographies - Brussels, Geneva, Sofia and Cairo.

In order to support our expansion and growth plans we are looking to recruit highly motivated and qualified individual for the position of Senior Brand Designer for our office in Sofia.


YOUR JOB
The Brand Designer translates marketing strategies into effective brand design solutions within a fast-paced, deadline-orientated environment. The Designer creates effective packaging which promotes brand coherency and helps ensure best product positioning in the marketplace.

From research concept development to design execution, the Designer develops packaging design concepts of all levels of complexity for multinational brands within FMCG categories.


YOUR ROLE

・ Explore and develop concept creation and design strategy for packaging
・ Work on multiple local and international Fast Moving Consumer Goods brands
・ Deliver innovative design solutions
・ Challenge creative limits of projects
・ Explore and develop scenarios, conceptual directions of design and design tools forclient presentation, i.e. sketches, drawings, mood boards, etc.
・ Be a creative design specialist staying up to date with design innovation, trends and competition





YOUR PROFESSIONAL PROFILE
・ SENIOR design experience in PACKAGING!!
・ Mastery of Photoshop, Illustrator, and other current design software in a Mac OS X environment
・ Excellent English (other language competences are considered as a plus)
・ Educational degree in Fine Arts or equivalent
・ Ability to draw and sketch
・ Keen on packaging and ability to work from concept to presentation
・ Strong understanding of package-oriented production and printing processes
・ Very good typographic knowledge
・ Good communication and organizational skills
