NEW RELEASE FROM A PERFECT CIRCLE
"Thirteenth Step," the highly anticipated new CD from APC will be released on Tuesday, September 16th. When I asked Maynard what he thought the major difference was between "Thirteenth Step" and "Mer de Noms" in an interview that I recently conducted with him for the Tool Collective, he told me that not only was he more involved in the music and arrangements this time around, but that the obvious difference... "was the introduction of the electric banjo and the Irish bassoon... very difficult to learn, but I was fortunate enough to find a willing and patient teacher in his holiness, the yummy feldman, the all being..." With this in mind, I will be casting my vote for MJK this Tuesday (the day of tiw, the northern Mars).
