UI/UX Designer for Mobile Applications iOS and Android

The Mobile Systems design team is looking for a talented designer with big aspirations to work on the next generation of applications for mobile devices. Applicants will be expected to create effective, intuitive UI/UX and visual designs for web and mobile applications, and will also be responsible the visual design of Mobile Apps and asset management (e.g. Android densities, formats, etc.).

Requirements:

Impeccable Photoshop and Illustrator skills
A portfolio of completed Mobile App design that is clear and professional
Expressive UI design skills, with a balance of creativity vs standards
Ability to work with corporate branding and App design guidelines
Good understanding of usability/interaction design
A proven track record of self-motivation
The Mobile App Designer Responsibilities:

Deliver all the assets required by developer in a timely manner
Assist developers, including pixel-level quality checks
Provide additional visual design specifications (dimensions, fonts, etc.) when required
Propose visual design solutions (eg. content presentation, artwork elements, etc.)
Required Skills & Experience:

2 years work experience in graphic/digital media and web design (mobile UI design a plus)
High Proficiency in using Adobe Creative Suite (esp. Photoshop and Illustrator)
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Freehand drawing skills will be considered an asset
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Graphic Design, Animation, or related field
