Who are we?

Mobile Systems is the company behind OfficeSuite – the leading mobile office in the Google Play Business category. OfficeSuite has been installed on more than 200 million devices in 205 countries. Our App can be found pre-loaded on devices from Sony, Amazon, Acer and others. We continue to have more than 65.000 new registrations every day.
The company was founded in 2001 and has offices in San Diego, Hong Kong and Sofia. Currently we have upwards of 80 employees.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a Senior UI/UX Designer for our flagship product - OfficeSuite for Android. She/he will be responsible for evolving the UI/UX of the app so that it continues to be the best-looking and most intuitive mobile office for Android.

Requirements:

o 3+ years of work experience designing Android apps. Candidates without demonstrable Android app design experience need not apply – this is a strict requirement!
o Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (esp. Photoshop and Illustrator)
o Experience with prototyping tools
o Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Graphic Design, Animation, or a related field
o Drawing skills are considered an advantage
o Living in Sofia or willing to relocate

Responsibilities:

o Follow the latest trends and developments in the app world – hot new apps, guidelines, platforms, competitor products, etc.
o Create UI/UX solutions (screens, icons, transitions, etc.), based on the wireframes and functional descriptions of the product manager.
o Work in a team together with developers / QA’s / project managers / other designers in a constructive and open-minded manner. Refine a design until consensus upon an exception product design is reached.
o Deliver all assets required by developers in a timely manner.
o Provide additional visual design specifications (dimensions, fonts, etc.) when required.
o Verify that all visual elemements have been implemented as designed, including pixel-level quality checks.
